Apple opened its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a new look at one of its Apple TV+ video streaming service’s original series.
The series, called For All Mankind, follows an alternate history take on the race to land on the moon where the USSR beats the U.S. to the punch. This pressures the U.S. to commit even further to space travel in an attempt to outdo the USSR.
For All Mankind comes from Battlestar Galactica reboot creator Ron Moore and stars Joel Kinnaman (Altered Carbon), Michael Dorman (West), Wrenn Schmidt (Boardwalk Empire), Shantel VanSanten (The Flash), Sarah Jones (Alcatraz) and Jodi Balfour (Bomb Girls).
The series will be available this fall when Apple TV+ launches. Specific release timing and pricing for the service has not yet been confirmed.
