Nintendo Switch Online now has 10 million subscribers, according to the Japanese video game company.
Nintendo Switch Online launched in September 2018, and is the Switch equivalent to Sony’s PlayStation Plus or Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold online service.
This is a growth of 200,000 members, according to Nintendo’s last report released back in April.
Nintendo president Furukawa said during an annual shareholders meeting that the company wants to improve Nintendo Switch Online in the future. However, it remains unclear what the company’s future plans for its Nintendo Switch Online service are.
As of February 2019 PlayStation Plus had 36.3 million members, while Microsoft doesn’t discuss its Live Gold membership numbers.
A 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription costs $24.99 CAD, with a 1-month membership being priced at $4.99.
