If you own a Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor Long Range trim, you can now buy an acceleration boost update that makes the car hit 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
Without the update, the car can accelerate to 60mph (roughly 96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds.
The price for the update in the U.S. is $2,000 USD before tax (roughly $2,636 CAD).
It’s interesting that Tesla is charging for a feature like this, but I guess for some people the extra speed boost is worth it.
