Here’s Canadian pricing and availability for Google’s Pixel 7a

Google announced the Pixel 7a at its I/O 2023 conference on May 10th, with availability starting the same day and on May 11th in some cases.

Canadians looking to pick up the new A-series handset have a few options, from buying it directly through Google to getting it from a carrier.

Below are all the options so far:

Google

Canadians can buy the Pixel 7a from Google’s online store for $599. The phone comes in four colours, the Google Store-exclusive ‘Coral’ as well as ‘Sky,’ ‘Chalk,’ and ‘Charcoal.’

Virgin Plus

Bell flanker brand Virgin Plus is offering the Pixel 7a for $0 down and $25/mo financing for 24 months on an eligible two-year plan. Customers get free Pixel Buds A-Series with the phone.

Freedom Mobile has the Pixel 7a available for $0 down and $15/mo for 24 months with its ‘TradeUp’ plan. With the plan, you either return the phone after 24 months or pay the TradeUp credit ($120) to keep the phone.

Koodo has the Pixel 7a starting at $0 down and $25/mo on the provider’s ‘Tab Plus’ option. Alternatively, customers can get the phone for $240 down and $15/mo for 24 months, or $360 down and $10/mo for 24 months on ‘Tab Mid’ and ‘Tab Basic,’ respectively. It’s also available for $700 outright.

Koodo is also offering the Pixel Buds A-Series as a bonus gift with the earbuds.
