The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 has been rumoured for a few weeks now and it seems that Samsung is on the cusp of announcing this tablet at CES today. Ahead of its keynote presentation, reputable device leaker evleaks has released a press image of the Note Pro 12.2.
The oversized tablet is expected to sport a 12.2-inch 2560×1600 pixel IPS display, a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, an 8MP rear camera that captures 1080p HD video, a 2.1MP front-facing camera for video calling, WiFi (802.11ac), NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, an IR Blaster, and S-Pen capabilities. In addition, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is expected to run Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a new version of TouchWiz (pictured above).
There will also be a trio of new Galaxy Tab Pro tablets announced at CES. There are supposedly going to be cheaper “Pro” versions available, with display sizes of 12.2-inches, 10.1-inches and and 8.4-inches. As you can see on the images Samsung will give these the same faux-leather that’s found on the Galaxy Note 3. No word on prices or release dates yet.
