Alberta government opposes cell phone ban while driving

Alberta is not about to follow Quebec and Nova Scotia when it comes to a cell phone ban while driving. They oppose it a recent report states. The report found that cellphone use while driving has less risk than many other distractions, including eating, using computers or tending to children in the back seat. “Eating or applying makeup or reading something while you’re driving – it all creates a higher risk of getting in a collision.” Read the full 40 page report here
