Google Play carrier billing now available to TELUS customers

Google Play

Google has updated its site to show that TELUS has gone live carrier billing for Google Play purchases. This offers the ability for customers to pay for apps and digital media (music, TV shows, movies, books) directly from their Android device and have it charged to their monthly wireless bill.

Competing carriers such as Rogers, Fido and Bell have also been live for a number of months. Similar to others, users will need to enter their password before making a purchase and there’s a $25/month limit in place to ensure nothing crazy happens. The purchases will appear on your bill as “Google Play.”
