Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Samsung Galaxy S5 in photos

We brought a Samsung Galaxy S5 with us to New York to see how it fares to the company’s newest flagship, the Galaxy Note 4.

The Galaxy S5 has a smaller 5.1-inch 1080p display, which is towered over by the Note 4’s 5.7-inch QHD panel.

Both are Super AMOLED, with excellent colour reproduction

The Galaxy Note 4 has a more powerful Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM compared to the Galaxy S5’s Snapdragon 801 and 2GB, respectively. The S5 has 16GB of internal storage compared to the Note 4’s 32GB.

Both devices have 16MP rear shooters but the Galaxy Note 4 has hardware-based optical image stabilization.

Both devices run Android 4.4 KitKat, but at launch the Note 4 has a newer version, Android 4.4.4, compared to the S5’s Android 4.4.2.

The Note 4 has a 3,220mAh battery while the S5 has a 2,800mAh cell. Both are removable.
