DressWatch will match your Android Wear watch face to anything you can photograph

Really, watch faces should be the easiest thing about customizing your smartwatch. However, even with the release of a custom watch face API for Android Wear (and with it, numerous third-party watch faces), changing up or customizing your watch face is still cumbersome enough that most people don’t want to do it every day.

Enter DressWatch, which aims to make changing the face on your watch as easy as changing your socks. It can even match the colour of your socks, or any other piece of clothing or object you have lying around, with little to no effort.

The app uses your phone’s camera to capture a photo of your clothes or an object (you can also just select a picture from the gallery). Then DressWatch will then extract colours from the image and ask you to select two colours from the palette. All you have to do is pick the colours and theme/pattern you prefer and DressWatch will create the watch face and send it to your wrist. Pretty nifty.

It’s available on the Google Play Store now for free, but it only supports Android Wear watches.
