Google began integrating app content in Google Now in late 2013, giving users the ability to see contextual information and quickly tap to go right into that part of the app. Late last year, the company announced support for an initial batch of 40 third-party apps used by millions of Android users every day.
Today, Google announced 70 new application partners to expand that service, including Zipcar, ABCNews, Circa, Spotify, and YouTube.
To receive this new functionality, make sure you have the latest version of the Google app from Google Play, which is available starting today. Google noted that the updated Now cards from new partners will roll out over the next few weeks.
Google has also provided a complete list of the supported third-party apps.
