Dreams do come true.
Anyone can now check out the Val-Bélair Hyundai dealership in Quebec and the River City Hyundai in Alberta using Street View on Google Maps. This is available to all through your laptop, tablet, or smartphone and brings the glory of everyday car salesmanship to your device.
This initiative is part of Hyundai’s Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) design, which rebrands its customer experience and allows those interested to get a 360-degree virtual tour of its showroom, service centre, and pop into a Hyundai vehicle. This Hyundai Val-Bélair shows off the Elantra, Tucson, and Genesis Coupe while the River City Hyundai has the Santa Fe XL, Genesis, and Veloster 3-door.
“We already know more and more customers are doing an increasing amount of their car shopping online; the data we see everyday proves that,” said Lawrence Hamilton, director of marketing at Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. “Bringing that 360-degree, Street View of Google Maps to two of our newest dealerships is a natural extension of what our customers are already looking for online and further accelerates the convergence of the online and bricks-and-mortar world.”
These two locations are a pilot project with a goal to eventually expand this feature to all its dealerships in Canada.
