Popular enterprise chat app Slack has opened up its calling feature to all users.
Originally launched in beta in March, Slack’s voice calling option is available on desktop, iOS, and Android and takes on the likes of Skype, as well as Google’s Hangouts platform.
The option is available to all its 3 million daily users to make one-on-one calls, but those paying on a monthly subscription have the ability to make group calls in any channel or group DM.
In addition, some of the most loved features within the basic version of Slack have made their way to the voice calling option, specifically, reactions.
Callers have the ability to add an emoji to the call and it will appear over the avatar for a moment along with a subtle sound without interrupting the speaker.
