Canadian consumers can now buy the updated version of Microsoft’s eighth generation video game console and one game for $299 before tax. While the discount is officially slated to go into effect tomorrow, according to the official Xbox Twitter account, the online Microsoft Store has already reduced the price of the Xbox One S. Microsoft has not announced if today’s price reduction is permanent or part of a limited time offer.
First revealed at E3 2016, the Xbox One S improves upon the Xbox One by adopting a more compact design and adding support for 4K and HDR video output.
