Reports by The Wall Street Journal have the next generation of the Apple iPad pegged for an official announcement on Wednesday, March 2nd. There has been several rumours of how the iPad 2 will change – thinner, lighter, better display, faster processor and a front-facing camera that will enable Facetime video chat. No invitations have been sent out to save the date but the WSJ states that “According to several sources close to the situation, the Wednesday date in a little more than a week is firm and will take place in San Francisco, the scene of many such Apple events.”
