The Samsung Galaxy Gio will be released by Virgin Mobile soon. According to the internal doc we received it states this entry-level Android comes with a 3.2-inch display with a slide out QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera (we thought it was 3-megapixel) and run OS 2.3. Pretty decent specs for what’s now bing called a “Smokin’ Entry Level Android”. We’re still waiting on price points and an official launch date (probably August 4th – same as Bell).
