Everyday we get closer and closer to making more devices obsolete. Until recently camera phones were nice to have in your phone to take a quick picture. Now mobile phones comes with a 5 megapixel camera which is good enough to blow up and frame.
Well, Samsung has now created the smallest 8 megapixel CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) chip for cell phones. The chip measures 28mm x 15.3mm x 8.5mm and can be set up to ISO 1600 for low-light shooting. The chip also features anti-shake, a 1-cm macro face tracking technology. Samsung expects to begin using the chip in its high-end phones by the second half of this year.
