The Nexus 7 has received its second OTA update in a week, as Google attempts to stabilize the operating system and optimize performance before the device goes on sale. As a result, if you’ve pre-ordered the device it should receive an update notification the first time you connect to a WiFi network.
The update, which puts the device at version JRO03D, is less than 1MB and does not show a specific changelog, so we’re not sure exactly what has been fixed. I can tell you that the Nexus 7 is even smoother than before, if that’s possible.
If you’ve received your Nexus 7, or have a developer version from Google I/O, let us know what you think of the update.
