LG Optimus G now available in Canada

LG and a few Canadian carriers have made the LTE-enabled Optimus G available today. This is LG’s best smartphone to-date and also their most powerful. It comes with a 4.7-inch 1280×768 pixel True IPS+ display, 1.5Ghz quad-core processor, runs ICS but will be upgraded to Jelly Bean early 2013. In addition, the design is strikingly similar to the Nexus 4 that is launching today and has a glass backing – which makes it feel a bit more premium than other plastic devices on the market. Other notable specs have the Optimus G with 2GB RAM, 8MP camera and a 1.9MP front-facing camera and a 2100mAh battery.

Rogers has the 2,600MHz LTE Optimus G available online now, $129.99 on a 3-year and $599.99 on a month-to-month. Bell is selling it for $649.95 outright. TELUS has now listed the Optimus G for $129 on a 3-year, or $650 outright. SaskTel has not gone live yet, but will be available today.
