There was a hint of hope that we’d see Samsung release the Windows Phone 8 ATIV S mid-November along with the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC 8X, but that’s now a faded thought. We’ve been hearing rumours that it’ll be available late November and this internal Rogers doc shows its truth. Dealers will be able to order the ATIV S starting November 20th (“SKU open Nov 20”), so this means the device should arrive in store a week, or week and half later – pointing towards a possible release of November 30th – or heaven forbid we slip into an early December release.
Rogers has also listed the ATIV S on their site for $149.99 on a 3-year (highest priced WP8 device in Canada) and we’ve also received other carrier documents that reveal the no-term price is set at $600 outright.
