Samsung OMNIA now available at Bell for $129.95

Bell has officially launched the Samsung OMNIA. This is their latest touchscreen Smartphone and can be yours on the following price plans with a $45 minimum Voice & Data plan:

3-year: $129.95
2-year: $399.95
1-year: $499.95
Outright: $549.95.

The Bell OMNIA has a promotion going on too that you should be aware of. This comes with a 2GB microSD card pre-loaded NHL content (video highlighs, audio clips, ringtones, wallpapers etc), plus they are throwing in a free subscription to Unlimited NHL, only good until June 30th… but gets you automatically included into a draw that can win you tickets to the Stanley Cup Finals.

As we let you know from our review of the TELUS Samsung OMNIA, this wieghs only 125 grams with overall dimensions of 112 x 56.9 x 12.5mm. This has a 3.2 inch touchscreen (240 x 400 pixels with an accelerometer) and comes loaded with Windows Mobile 6.1 for all your business needs such as e-mails, contacts, Microsoft Word Power Point and Excel… plus it has a 5 megapixel camera/video (auto focus, and flash) that can take great quality images. The Omnia has Samsung’s “Sharepix” that allows you to instantly upload pics to sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Flickr. Regarding memory, this comes with 8GB of internal memory with a capability of holding up to 24GB.

One of the pleasant things about the OMNIA are the inclusion of “widgets”, these make your mobile experience that much more fun as they give you the ability to customize your phone how you like it. The Widgets are basically applications that you drag and drop on to your phones desktop for quick access. These are located on the left hand side of the device and some examples are the FM radio, LiveTV,  Stock info, NHL, Weather forecast, Internet (Full HTML Browser), clock, contacts etc…
