RIM launched the BlackBerry App World for those in US, Canada and UK. In addition, there are a few system requirements to take into consideration:
1. BlackBerry Device Software version 4.2 or higher
2. BlackBerry smartphones with trackballs or SurePress touch screen
3. To purchase apps from BlackBerry App World, you’ll need a PayPal account
To download and start getting apps, from your BlackBerry you can go to mobile.blackberry.com, or from your computer visit blackberry.com/appworld.
