fidow233imageApril is Earth Month and Fido seems to be joining in to help a good cause with the launch of the Motorola W233 Renew. This is the phone that is Carbon free and made recycled water bottles.

We hear this will be officially launching on April 2nd (tomorrow) on the following price prices:

This was first announced at CES in Las Vegas last year, the Moto W233 Renew weighs in at a light 83 grams. The overall dimensions are 110.9 x 14.7 x 45mm. This comes with  music player (dedicated music key) with 2GB of removable memory, 2.5 mm earphone jack.  The official description says “The Motorola MOTO™ W233 Renew is the industry’s cell phone made from plastics that contain recycled water bottles and is the first certified Carbonfree® cell phone on the market. Through an alliance with Carbonfund.org, we offset the energy to manufacture, distribute and operate the phone by investing in renewable energy sources and reforestation. In fact, 100% of the Motorola W233 Renew’s phone housing is recyclable. Inside the box, you’ll find a prepaid envelope to return your old phone for recycling.”
