Wondering what to watch on streaming?

As Hawaii’s four kingdoms are divided by war, a ferocious warrior embarks on a dangerous mission to unite his people.
Based on true events, Chief of War was created by Jason Momoa (Aquaman series) and Thomas Paʻa Sibbett (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom) and stars Momoa, Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian) and Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent).

Netflix
My Oxford Year [Netflix Original]

Genre: Romantic comedy

An American travels to Oxford for her studies and meets a charming local who changes both of their lives.
Based on Julia Whelan’s novel of the same name, My Oxford Year was directed by Iain Morris (Next Goal Wins) and stars Sofia Carson (Carry-On), Corey Mylchreest (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), Dougray Scott (Mission: Impossible II) and Catherine McCormack (Braveheart).

WWE Summer Slam 2025 [Netflix Original]
Netflix Canada premiere date: Saturday, August 2 at 6 p.m. ET and Sunday, August 3 at 6 p.m. ET
Genre: Wrestling
Runtime: Two nights (around two hours each)
The latest annual Summer Slam features big match-ups like John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill, Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul and Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria.

It’s also worth noting that a documentary that goes backstage into the wrestling world, WWE Unreal, will begin streaming on Netflix on July 29.

Based on PlayStation’s vehicular combat game series of the same name, Twisted Metal was created by Rhett Reese and Toronto’s Paul Wernick (Deadpool series) and Michael Jonathan Smith (Cobra Kai) and stars Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), wrestler Samoa Joe and Toronto’s Will Arnett (Arrested Development) as the body and voice of Sweet Tooth and Anthony Carrigan (Barry).
