Here’s some unfortunate news for Motorola Dext, Quench and Backflip owners. A few weeks ago Motorola posted on their Owners’ Forum that these devices were currently “under evaluation” to receive an upgrade to OS 2.1 (Eclair). However it now seems that these Android-powered devices are all staying with the OS they came with – which is the first release of OS 1.5.
Motorola says they all “Will remain on Android 1.5 for the best combined hardware and software experience”.
