Canadian Business magazine has released their annual Rich 100 list and it’s certainly something to aspire towards. In total there are 58 billionaires and leading the way is the Thomson family with a measly worth of $23.36 billion. When it comes to wireless, here’s who made the cut:
Rogers Family at #4 with a combined worth of $6.02 billion (up 28%)
RIM co-CEO Michael Lazaridis coming in at #24 with $2.02 billion (down 30.5%)
RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie coming in at #30 with $1.81 billion (down 32.4%)
JR Shaw of Shaw Communications coming in at #42 with $1.41 billion (up 22.1%)
Pierre Karl & Érik Péladeau of Quebecor coming in at #85 with $667 Million (new on the list this year)
André Chagnon of Videotron ltée coming in at #100 with $540 Million (down 1.6%)
