Earlier this week Apple seeded iOS 7 Beta 5 to developers and it was a minor update, but was another step closer for the revised OS to go prime time. Apple promised the world that iOS 7 will be available to users sometime during the fall.
According to TELUS’ “Upcoming software updates schedule,” iOS7 is currently pegged for a release sometime next month. The carrier lists the ‘expected in-market date’ for September and are currently ‘in progress’ of testing iOS 7 now, plus will be compatible on the Apple devices such as the ‘iPhone 4, 4S, 5 iPad 2 and above.’ Of course, there’s a disclaimer that “expected dates are estimates and are subject to change,” but this follows all the other rumours that Apple will launch a low-cost iPhone and a new iPhone – iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S – in September.
