The HTC Desire 601 will be making the rounds at Canadian carriers. We already know that Bell and Rogers will be launching this entry-level Android in the coming days, plus it seems that Rogers’ sub-brand Fido is also hopping on board.
A Tweet by Fido confirms their intentions to release it to their customers, unfortunately there’s no pricing or date – would be safe to believe sometime during the first week of November. Fido stated that “Great news! The powerful HTC Desire, superfast and with a 5 MP camera, will soon be available at Fido.”
Specs wise, the LTE-enabled HTC Desire 601 has a 4.5 inch display (540 x 960 resolution), 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP camera that captures 1080p HD videos, a 2100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Update: Koodo posted a note that the HTC Desire 601 will also be coming to their lineup.
