Twitter-owned Vine has updated its 6-second social video platform for Android and iOS today with several new features.
For many months users have been requesting Vine to implement a counter that displays the number of times a Vine has been seen — today this is now live. Heading to mobile and web will be “Loop Counts,” which Vine now proudly displays the number times your 6-second video has been looped (in real time). Some of your Vine’s may already show some Loop Counts as Vine started tracking numbers on April 3rd.
The second major update to the app is a Feed redesign for both mobile platforms, now offering edge-to-edge videos and “a cleaner view of likes and comments.”
