Audi’s CES press conference made headlines today for its in-car partnerships with Android Wear manufacturers LG, Samsung and NVIDIA. However, it was what board member Ulrich Hackenberg was wearing that captured the most attention.
LG has already launched the G Watch and the G Watch R, but Hackenberg had an unknown smartwatch that he used to invite the Prologue, Audi’s self-driving car, towards him. The round watch seems to be made of premium materials and come with a leather band.
While the device is yet unknown, LG has confirmed that the watch was made specifically for Audi and runs a customized version of Android Wear.
