Google updated Hangouts for Android last month with a Material Design and number of new features, including 16 new sticker packs and ‘Last Seen’ timestamps.
Earlier today, Google rolled out Hangouts version 2.5 to iOS users. Similar to Android users, this brings new stickers, one click sharing of your location with friends, ability to update your status, and also an improved video call experience.
