Toronto-based WINR Games is disrupting the mobile gaming industry with the introduction of Big Time, the first mobile gaming app that rewards players with at least $1,000 just for playing. Unlike gaming apps that require players to pay to play, users on Big Time earn tickets as they play that go towards a weekly draw. Prizes are awarded via email transfer or Paypal. The only caveat for winning the prize is that you must provide a “smiling selfie” and share how you’ll be spending the money. WINR also retains the rights to market your face on its website and app.
The app is free to download on iOS and Android and includes 10 games including Rover Ranger, Gusty Grove, Beaming Boxes, and Kinetic Console. The weekly draws are open to Canadian residents (of course, excluding Quebec), and most of the United States who are 14 years or older.
