Amy Lou, Huawei Global Brand Director, stated the company’sĀ vision is to become “the most loved consumer Brand.”
To make this happen, Huawei unveiled its wearable strategy. Leading the charge will be the Android Wear-powered Huawei Watch, which features a 1.4-inch circular display. CapitalizingĀ on the fitness tracking trend is the second generation of the TalkBand B2.
The Huawei TalkBand B2 was officially announced today and is a fitness tracker and Bluetooth (4.1) headset. This comes with a splash of elegance in various designs (black, silver and gold) and expands theĀ tracking functionalities ofĀ the original with 6-axis sensors that accurately recognize if you are running, cycling, walking, climbing stairs or sleeping. The TalkBand B2 lasts up to five days on a single charge and supports Android devices running 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher. It’s also compatible with iOS via the TalkBand app.
The Bluetooth 4.1-enabled module, which features noise reduction and is water and dust-resistant, can be detached from your wrist and used in-ear.
While we know that the Huawei Watch is coming to Canada, there was no indication of the TalkBand B2 will launch here.
