Mo Versi, vice president of product management at HTC, tweeted out today that HTC has completed testing the One M9’s Android Marshmallow update, adding that the update will be pushed to unlocked versions of the smartphone over the next 24 hours.
Based on several images shared by Versi, the update looks to weight in at about 450MB.
In subsequent tweets, Versi went on to state carrier versions of the update are currently making their way through certification. He also said the One M9 should get some Marshmallow love in the near future.
We’ll publish a follow up article once Canadian carriers begin rolling out the update.
