The Android team has tweeted out a GIF that features illustrations of three different types of foldable smartphones.
The tweet showcases a device that folds with the display on the outside, similar to the Huawei Mate X. Further, the second foldable sports a screen on the inside like the Galaxy Fold.

Lastly, the last handset in the GIF features a smartphone that folds like a flip phone similar to the rumoured Motorola Razr remake.
Android Q will reportedly support a variety of forms of foldable handsets. Many smartphone manufacturers other than Samsung are also reportedly working on foldable devices, including LG, Sony and TCL.
While this doesn’t necessarily mean that Google will also launch a foldable handset, it’d be interesting to see which foldable device design the company opts for.
