Smartphone Results: RIM, HTC up, Nokia Apple down

Recent Smartphone numbers: Nokia sold 15.3 million phones giving it a 47.5 percent share. RIM sold 5.6 million smartphones in April through June, up from 2.5 million a year ago. Apple Inc’s share of global smartphone sales fell to 2.8 percent from 5.3 percent in the first quarter of 2008. HTC doubled from a year ago to 1.3 million phones. More here
