Rogers price drops all Windows Phone 8 devices, including the unreleased Samsung ATIV S

It was just under a month ago that the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X Windows Phone 8 devices launched in Canada. Both of these came out swinging with power specs and at a power price point. Now, at least on Rogers, both WP8 handsets have been price drop. The Nokia Lumia 920 falls to $99.99 on a 3-year, HTC 8X 8GB drops to free and the 16GB sinks to a low $30 on a 3-year. On the weekend we posted news that Bell would be reducing the price of the upcoming ATIV S and it seems that Rogers is confirming this to be true, too. According to their website they now list the Samsung WP8 at $79.99 on a 3-year, used to be $149.99.

No word from the carriers or manufacturers on how sales are going, but this is probably one of the fastest price drops we’ve ever seen on such a wide selection of high end devices.
