Samsung details Premium Suite content coming to Galaxy S III (video)

We told you yesterday that the Galaxy S III would be receiving some extra treats with its Android 4.1.2 update. And while it doesn’t quite make up for the lack of lockscreen widgets and other accoutrements found on Android 4.2, some of these features are pretty nice to have.

Canadians already received Page Buddy in the Android 4.1.1 update, along with Smart Rotation and a couple other tweaks, but it’s Multi View that really piques our interest. The ability to natively run two apps side by side — and not just Samsung apps, but any of your choosing — is rather intriguing, though we can imagine the feature would work better on the larger Galaxy Note II screen.

The ability to transfer images using NFC and S Bean directly from one S3 to another has always been there, but now it is enabled using a single touch. This feature was included in the Android 4.1.1 update for Canadians, too, so it seems Samsung is rolling out some features piecemeal.

Check after the break for the full rundown on what Samsung is calling a “Premium Suite” of features for the Galaxy S III.
