American social networking giant Facebook has revealed that International Women’s Day was this year’s most-talked about moment.

According to Facebook, the event resulted in 165 million people generated over 430 millions reactions around the world.

Additionally, the U.S., Brazil, India, Mexico and Argentina generated more than 50 percent of all International Women’s Day posts.

International Women’s day was also Canada’s most-talked about moment, followed by the death of The Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie, and the violent attacks that took place in Las Vegas.

Globally, however, Super Bowl 51 was the second-most-talked about moment, generating 240 million interactions from 64 million people.

Facebook also reported that more than 180,000 Super Bowl-related events were planned on the platform, with approximately 1.1 million people “accepting invitations to those events around the world.”

Lady Gaga’s halftime show was almost the most ‘Loved’ moment of the Super Bowl.

In addition to the most-talked about moments of the year, Facebook measured the moments that caused individuals to use the platform to “support one another in times of crisis.”

The late September 2017 earthquake in Mexico, Hurricane Harvey in late August 2017 and the May 2017 attacks in Manchester were the three crises that generated the most traffic.

The platform also measured moments in which “people used online tools to get together in person.”

The August 2017 total solar eclipse and the January 21st, 2017 Women’s March on Washington, D.C. were the two in-person events that generated the most traffic.

“On January 21st, The Women’s March on DC brought over 500,000 people together on and offline as the largest Facebook Event for a single cause in 2017,” reads an excerpt from a Facebook media release. “This single event sparked more than 15,000 other local events to be created in different cities across the globe, bringing millions of people together from over 100 different countries for one of the largest global movements in recent history.”

According to Facebook, over two million people from 118 countries “either showed an interest in or attended” a local Women’s March.

Facebook says that it gathered this analytic data by comparing keywords spikes between January 1st and November 1st, 2017, “and by reviewing the top products and tools used by the global community during top moments in the year.”
