TAG Heuer teases Android Wear smartwatch, says ‘bold style meets breakthrough technology’

TAG Heuer has once again teased its upcoming Android Wear-powered smartwatch. What was once known as the “Carrera Wearable 01” is now known as the TAG Heuer Connected.

As expected, the official unveiling will happen in New York City on November 8th, but now a dedicated website has been created showcasing a few previously-unknown details prior to launch.

“Developed in partnership with Google and Intel” is what Tag is promoting along with a description, “TAG Heuer is pushing the Swiss avant-garde limits even further with the TAG Heuer Connected. Tradition meets innovation, craftsmanship meets savoir-faire, and bold style meets breakthrough technology. The clock is ticking to the major breakthrough.”

The complete specs are not yet known, but the TAG Heuer Connected has a circular watch face with a metal case. The watch will reportedly cost around $1,800 USD.
