Montreal-made Hitman Go is now available on Gear VR and Oculus Rift headsets

Update: Square Enix Montreal has released its popular Hitman Go on both the Gear VR and Oculus Rift VR headsets. Go forth. Escape with this assassin strategy game.

Hitman Go, the excellent Square Enix Montreal developed spinoff of the Hitman franchise, will come to Gear VR and Oculus Rift headsets tomorrow, reports The Verge’s Andrew Webster.

Released initially on iOS back in 2014, the turn-based strategy title will cost $7.99 USD on Gear VR and $9.99 USD (prices are converted to CAD from USD in the Oculus market place) on Oculus Rift when it arrives on those platforms. The latter version runs at 90 frames per second and takes advantage of the Rift’s head-tracking functionality.

The game is already available on iOS, Android, as well as PC and PlayStation 4. We were huge fans of the game, and Square Enix Montreal’s subsequent title, Lara Croft Go, when it originally came out.
