Right after the New Year 19 Bell employees struck it huge when they won the $50 million jackpot in the LOTTO MAX. Days later a few more employees stated they were part of the 19 and unfortunately the winnings were held back and a full investigation was under way. Today the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) stated that an agreement has been made that will see the $50 million prize be distributed into 30 shares. Each of the 19 employees will receive $1,667,915.53 (including interest) and the remaining funds will be paid to the court where they “will determine who, if any, of the additional claimants also has a legitimate claim and will ultimately distribute the disputed portion of the prize.”
