Sony “Tapioca” LT21i leaks show some mid-range deliciousness

We saw Sony’s entire 2012 smartphone range leak last week including the Kumquat, and now there is proof of a number of new Sony-branded devices coming to market later this year.

The “Tapioca” LT21i should have a 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) display, 800Mhz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal memory storage, a 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4Ghz). Though initially destined for Asian and European markets, we could see it coming to Canada to rival LG and Samsung’s low-end offerings.

Also up for grabs is the Sony Nypon, which also comes across as a low- to mid-range device. No specs on this one, but it definitely appeals to the Xperia arc lover in me. A 1000nits backlit display is expected on the Nypon, so it should be incredibly easy to read in direct sunlight.
