Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 heading to Virgin

Seems there’s another Galaxy device heading to Canada. We’ve been tipped that Virgin Mobile – and most likely Bell – will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. This is an entry level Android that will be sold for about $200 – $250 outright, plus will not need a data plan to be active. As for timing, you can expect this to be available for the holiday rush in the November/December timeframe.

Specs wise, very respectable for what’s considered an entry-level device these days. The Galaxy Ace 2 comes with a 3.8-inch WVGA display, 800Mhz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, a 5MP camera, a 1500mAh battery, runs Android OS 2.3.

We’ll have more info soon.
(Thanks tipster!)
