Is this the Motorola Moto X?

Motorola’s next flagship smartphone will be the Moto X and it’ll be available sometime this summer. This was confirmed by Dennis Woodside, Motorola’s CEO, a few weeks ago.

Specs about this device have been rampant on the web for months (see here and here) and will apparently have a display between 4.5 and 4.7-inches, 2 GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, plus come with some sort of unique technology that’ll set it apart from all the other high-end smartphones. Woodside stated that “We know when it’s in your pocket, we know when it’s in your hand, it’s going to know when you want to take a picture and fire up the cameras.”

A new leak has appeared online that apparently shows the upcoming Moto X. PhoneArena declared that the mysterious picture above is the Moto X – model number Motorola XT1056 – and is currently in lab testing on Sprint’s 4G LTE network. There’s no other details, apart from a potential August 1st launch date.
