When Google launched the Nexus 5 they also promised that Android OS 4.4 KitKat will arrive on the Nexus 4, 7, 10, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play Edition devices “in the coming weeks.”
Well, good fortune has arrived today as Google just announced on Twitter that the KitKat update should be hitting the Wi-Fi version of the Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 starting tonight. In addition, the Nexus 7 3G & LTE and the Nexus 4 KitKat update “will be getting the update soon.”
