Path currently developing app for Windows Phone

The popular “smart journal” app Path will soon be expanding past iPhone and Android, entering into the Windows Phone arena. A question was asked on their support forum of when users can expect to see the app on Windows Phone, BlackBerry or Amazon’s Kindle Fire. In response, the admin stated “At the moment, Path does not exist for Blackberry, Windows Phone 7, or Kindle Fire. In the future, we would like to get Path on as many devices as possible!”.

However, Windows Phone could be coming sooner than later as Dave Morin, Path founder, was speaking at the PandoMonthly event and said “We’re also beginning work on Windows Phone, mostly because we believe that the product is really good. I don’t know if you guys have played with a Windows Phone but it’s actually quite impressive.”

Unfortunately, there was no other details as to timing. In addition, Morin gave no other insight into when/if a BlackBerry app will be available.
