Rogers to release iPhone June 9th?

Our friends over at Gizmodo is reporting that the second generation iPhone will be launched at the keynote of the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on June 9th in San Fransisco… and be available for sale throughout the world shortly after.

Does this mean that Rogers Wireless will start selling the iPhone in Canada on the 9th as well?
The new iPhone is a 3G iPhone and rumoured that it will not be available at a fixed price?

Not sure if Rogers will go for that in Canada…
