Toronto-based CallWand, the people who brought you #TAXI in Canada has gone American. It’s a pay-per-use service that is available with Boost for $1.29 per call, Alltel and Verizon Wireless for $1.50 per call, and AT&T Mobility for $1.79 per call. If you are in a rush an don’t know the number of the taxi company, you can press #TAXI on your mobile and it will connect you with the first available taxi in the area.
