A number of happy Canadians were excited to hear that Fido was releasing the Nokia E71exclusively with a targeted November launch. Pictures have shown up online with a Fido interface and we wrote about this several times of how a phone like this would be a great addition to the Fido line-up.
Well, we got a call from our Nokia insider and there are conversations on forums that indicate the Nokia E71 is scrapped from Fido’s line-up and now shifting on over to Rogers for the big Q4 launch.
No love for the puppy from the master as this feels like a tennis game – back and forth, back and forth. We’ll have more info on this soon and really see if this story is true or if it’s a PR stunt of some sort.
