CRTC releases October 1st agenda for Globalive foreign ownership hearings

globalive-hearings2For those following the Globalive foreign ownership hearings, the CRTC has just released the agenda for October 1st. We want Wind Mobile to launch as much as the other new wireless carriers… TELUS, Rogers and Bell will have 30 minutes each to communicate closing remarks.

The hearings start and end with Globalive given 70 minutes (10 to open “if they so request” and 60 in closing remarks).

Best of luck and remember what Industry Minister, Jim Prentice spoke about the intentions of the Wireless Spectrum auction: “Our government’s intentions are clear: to achieve lower prices, better service and more choice for consumers and business. We believe in relying on market forces to the maximum extent feasible because competition benefits consumers, and consumers benefit most when markets are as competitive as they can be.”
